Tomes Rolling Rules

TOMES of STR, CHA, WIS, DEX, INT, and CON.: 

Based foremost on a characters main stat for his/her specific class. It is understood that Tomes of any type can benefit any class. This is why the base roll is modified for particular classes. Tomes shall be rolled for by everybody unless you have already used a tome. These Tomes are binding and cannot be traded or auctioned.. This is why we ask, that if you have used a tome of the particular type, please do not roll. 

Your roll will be "/roll d100". The result of your roll will then be modified by your class as listed below. If you are a multi-class toon, you will automatically roll based on your highest level of any class. If the multi-class levels are equal, you must decide which you will call your "main" class before entering a quest that drops tomes in the warded chests. If you do not decide by then, The icon that appears in your party info will be considered your main class without argument.

Here is a listing of each Classes Attributes, based on Character creation in DDO.

Fighters and Barbarians-Strength and Constitution

Paladins-Charisma, Strength, Wisdom and Constitution

Rogues-Dexterity, Intelligence and Wisdom

Rangers-Dexterity, Strength and Wisdom

Clerics-Wisdom and Charisma

Wizard-Intelligence

Sorcerer-Charisma

Bard-Charisma and Intelligence

Please understand that every Tome can help every toon in way or another.  We are assigning this roll chart to give people more of a chance of getting the Tomes that are needed based upon the recommended attributes in the DDO Character Creation process.  A main stat is the first stat that is listed under your specific class and will receive a +20 to your roll.  Secondary stats receive a +5 and third and fourth stats receive a even roll.  


Strength Tomes

Fighters and Barbarians roll at a +20 * Paladins/Rangers roll at +5 and all others roll at a -20


Charisma Tomes

Bards/Sorcerers/Paladins roll at +20 * Clerics roll at +5 * Rogues roll even and all others roll at a -20

Wisdom Tomes

Clerics roll at +20 * Paladins/Rogues/Rangers roll even and all others roll at a -20

Intelligence Tomes

Wizards roll at +20 * Rogues/Bards roll at +5 and all others roll at a -20

Dexterity Tomes

Rogues/Rangers roll at +20 and all others roll at -20

Constitution Tomes

Fighters/Barbarians roll at +20 *Paladins roll at a +5 and all others roll at a -20
